Roger

A little animation project from class. We were supplied with dialogue and character sheets to choose from. Since I have a similar physical constitution as Roger from 101 Dalmatians (okay I'm like his brown twin), it was an easy choice.
There are still a handful of things that I'd change about this animation, but here it stands for now.
Hope the sound isn't loud and scary like previous animation posts.

Great texture to this, Anton. His shifts in speed really bring him to life!
Are the pegs on top?

Thanks.
No, the pegs are bottom pegs (otherwise you can't flip your animation). I punch holes in the top of my paper too so that I can keep the paper in my 3-ring binder. Yeah, I'm cool

The hell.

I'm so glad I didn't see this on Tuesday.

I give up my argument about 1's vs. 2's. 1's win. Well, YOU win, anyway.

GREAT job.

Yeah, you AAARGH! the best (boy, that "are" came out a bit strong).

Anthony, I'm not usually this kiss arse because I think helpful criticism is, well, criticism - but I gotta say, your art is like Italian hot chocolate (Amaretto even), your art makes me feel good inside. My grand kids will hear stories about you -- (cut to christmas scene, grandpa Jared sitting on an old chair next to the fireplace with 10 or 11 grandchildren, imagine old voice) --Hey gramps, tell us about the Amaretto Artist!: "Yeah he's out there somewhere, animating, you've probably already seen his work, maybe even last Saturday morning; whenever I feel good inside watching cartoons, I say to myself, yep that's ol' Anthony pushin that pencil, like Ameretto."

I only watched that probably like 40, 50 times. Pretty sure I quit.

So the past four times or so I've gotten on your blog looking for a good study break this animation has been unavailable to play for some reason. I more than made up for it by watching this about 12 times. Nice work, brother. And I'm glad to hear you and the fam are going to make it back at Christmas to spend time with the bigger fam.

Great timing Anthony. The beats in the animation are very fun. I love the trombone thing. I used to play the trombone is high school but I hated it. haha

Jenna, the voice is from the satirical album "Stan Freberg Presents: The History of the United States of America - Part 1 The Early Years" . The voice is from the section titled: "Yankee Doodle Go Home (Spirit of '76)"
